Father and son head bakers Vincenzo and Luca Caravello, who graduated top of his class at the prestigious French Culinary Institute, and for over two decades mastered their trade in the heart of Brooklyn; bring their rustic style of Italian baking to Long Island. Located at 2685 Merrick Road, adjacent to Ace Hardware.

After 20 years of serving the community, we are still committed to quality and excellence. Upon entering Spiga, you will be greeted by a wonderful display of traditional and regional Italian confections, a vast variety of large and miniature pastries, and an extensive assortment of handmade butter cookies and biscotti (Italian biscuits). Take in the aroma of freshly baked specialty breads like our renowned prosciutto bread, cheese bread, olive bread, and more traditional breads like our Challah, semolina, and marble rye.
